Once I received my free bag of Chicken and Brown Rice Nutrish, I opened the bag, it looked really appetizing, for dog food that is. You could actually see the dried fruits and veggies, along with chucks of what I believe to be chicken. I waited until it was feeding time for my Great Dane. I wanted to make sure that he was hungry, but not starving. We free feed our dog, so I poured his bowl full. At first he looked at it, and sniffed it. He took a couple of pieces in his mouth and dropped them on the floor. I then handed him one of the large chunks and he took it and ate it. I decided to walk away for a few to give him a chance to decide if he wanted it. When I returned, he had finished half of the bowl (standard amount he eats with his regular dog food) So, my assumption is, he liked it.
The packaging and the actual dog food look nicely presented. And I really like the fact that the packaging states, "No poultry by-product meal, fillers, artificial preservatives, colors or artificial flavors".
I received this product from Nutrish and Influenster in exchange for my honest review.
